Cancellation and Missed Appointment Policy

At Beverley and Driffield Chiropractic Clinics it is our aim to provide quality care for our patients. To ensure our clinic time is used fairly and effectively, we operate a Late Cancellation and Missed Appointment Policy. 

Rearranging or Cancelling your appointment 

We ask that patients contact us with at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment. This allows us to offer the appointment time to patients on our waiting list and better manage the clinic diaries.

Please note that cancellations and rearrangements can only be made by contacting:

If outside of clinic hours - please call the landline 01482870934 or 01377272277 and leave message on the machine. Please state your name, number and the appointment you wish you change or cancel. 

If the phone message states ‘we are busy on the other line’ or the clinic is now closed,  please wait for the answer machine and leave a message on the voicemail. All messages are recorded with date and time of the call.

Running Late

If you are running late for an appointment, please make us aware by phone or text as soon as possible. We will do what we can to ensure your appointment goes ahead. Please be aware that late arrival may result in a shortened appointment or if very late may qualify as a missed appointment. If the appointment is missed this may result in a fee.

Missed Appointments 

If you do not attend your appointment and have given no prior notice to the clinics a full fee will be charged before another appointment is booked.

Text message reminders 

We provide text message reminders for all appointments via our text service. This system is automated, and you cannot reply to these messages. This system is in place to help you, but it is your responsibility to ensure you attend your appointment at the agreed time. 

Cancellation Fees

We reserve the right to charge a full fee for any missed or late cancellations. We reserve the right for full payment in advance for all future appointments, or not to rebook any further appointments at the clinics discretion.
